Career Highlights
In 2004-2005, Tanner was the Saints starting center, as he started 31-of-32 games for Seward County. Tanner was the leading rebounder for the Saints last season with 129 defensive boards, 188 total rebounds and 5.9 rebounds a game. Tanner had 17 games with six or more rebounds, including nine games in the Jayhawk West Conference. Tanner scored 362 points (11.3 ppg.) ranking him second on the team last season. Tanner made 105 free-throws in 2004-2005, placing him 17th on the all-time list in Seward County Men's Basketball history for free-throws in a single season. Tanner scored a career high 28 points (11-for-16) in 39 minutes played (career high) in the Saints 88-85 victory over Dodge City C.C. (2/5/05). In the Saints final non-conference game of 04-05, Tanner led the Saints to a victory over then ranked No. 19 Frank Phillips, by posting a double/double scoring 27 points (10-for-14) and grabbing 14 rebounds (12/11/05). Tanner's other double/double last season came in a victory against Pratt, as he scored 11 points and posted a career high 15 rebounds (2/16/05). Tanner finished seventh in the Jayhawk West Conference in Free Throw percentage (.755) and ninth overall in the West in Defensive Rebounds per game (4.03). In addition, Tanner was named to the Spring 2005 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
