The Saints suffered their worst loss of the season on Wednesday night to Garden City, 64-43, at the Green House. It was the lowest scoring total for any

men’s basketball team in 101 games. In 2003,

lost a non-conference game on the road at
Cowley

Community College
60-40. Against Garden City, Seward shot just 25 percent (15-for-60) from the field and hit only 4-of-30 from three-point range. Theron Wilson led
Seward
County
with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
The Cloud County Thunderbirds have struggled lately, especially at home dropping their two previous games on their home court to Garden City C.C. (62-64) and on Wednesday against Pratt C.C. (75-81).

committed 26 turnovers, while Pratt led in the turnover column with 27.

was led in scoring by Girod Adams (17 points) who is averaging 5.5 points per game this season. Cloud County’s NJCAA and Street & Smith Pre-Season All-American Cassin Diggs, was held to 6 points against Pratt. Diggs has scored in double-figures in only two games over the T-Birds last seven contests. Diggs signed an official NCAA letter of intent to the

remains the top ranked team in the Region VI in team defense, allowing opponents only 60.6 points per game.

has won the last three meetings in this series, but the Saints are 4-2 against the T-Birds in the Green House since 2000-2001. Overall, the series is 6-6 over the last six seasons.
