shot 51 percent (19-for-37) and Colby marked a 48 percent (15-for-31) shooting effort from the field. In the first-half, Williams scored 15 first-half points and fellow Saints big-man Bryson Hampton posted 10 points.
Wednesday night’s game also featured Colby’s Jorge Canedo (11.6 rebounds per game) and
Seward
County
’s Theron Wilson (11.4 rpg.), who are the top two rebounders in the NJCAA Region VI. Both players were impressive with Canedo out-rebounding

showcased his impressive athletic ability with five slam dunks, and posting his 42nd career double-figure scoring game, and his 16th career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Wilson
is currently leading the Region VI in scoring (21.6 ppg.) and is second (behind Canedo) in rebounding (11.3 rpg.).
Canedo led Colby with 22 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. The Trojans also had strong outings from Camilo Londono (16 points and three assists and two steals) and Mike Mosley (16 points, three rebounds and two steals).
Seward
County
also continued to shoot well at the free-throw line hitting 13-of-14 (93 percent) from the charity stripe. Over the last two games the Saints have missed only five free-throws, and are shooting a combined 48-for-53 (91 percent) from the line.
Hampton
finished with 14 points and four rebounds and sophomore three-point specialist Michael Tyree equaled his season average with 18 points. Tyree nailed two more three-point field goals on Wednesday night, giving him 73 3-pointers this season. Tyree is now tied for fifth-place all-time in Saints history for single-season three-point baskets. Tyree is tied with James Sutton (1992-1993) for fifth place, and trails former Saints All-Region VI selection, Jason Robinson (1999-2000), by nine three-pointers for fourth-place all-time.

on homecoming night at SCCC on Sat. Feb. 3.
Seward
County
