is riding an up-and-down Jayhawk West Conference season losing on Saturday night at home against Dodge City 68-61, on Homecoming night at the Green House. The Saints and Conqs went into halftime with the score 27-27, after

shot 35 percent and
Dodge City
hitting 46 percent from the field.
Dodge City
opened the second-half on a 19-5 run and shot 58 percent in the final period to win their sixth conference game.
The biggest blow for the Saints in the
Dodge City
game was when Saints freshman Ervin Williams received an intentional foul and was ejected from the game, after fouling
Dodge City
forward Charlie Coley on an uncontested dunk with less than a minute remaining in the game. Williams, the Saints leading scorer on Saturday night with 17 points and eight rebounds, will sit out his one-game suspension for his ejection on Wednesday night against the Blue Dragons.
The Blue Dragons received their worst loss this season in their last game against Cloud County, 75-50, on Jan. 31 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
Hutchinson
made only 12 field goals and shot 25 percent in the loss, which marks the Blue Dragons fourth loss in their last five games.
Hutchinson
was led by sophomore Nate Brumfield, who scored a team-high 11 points and shot 7-for-12 from the free-throw line.

out-rebounded

46-31. The Blue Dragons did not play on Saturday night.
