Cloud
County
is a team that looks quite a bit different from the first time the Saints played them in the Green House. The T-Birds entered their first meeting with the Saints after losing three of their last four games. Now,
Cloud
County
is riding a five game winning streak after defeating
Hutchinson
, Colby and Garden City on the road, and
Butler
and
Barton
County
in Concordia. The recent five-game winning streak hasn’t had many nail bitters among them with
Cloud
County
defeating their opponents by an average of 16 points per game. Their last game was on Monday, playing a make-up game at Garden City that had been postponed from the previous Wednesday.
Cloud
County
ran past Garden City in the second-half outscoring the Busters 40-26, with a 57 percent shooting effort from the field. Ricky Jackson (21 points) and Girod Adams (15 points) led the way for
Cloud
County
in their 72-55 victory.
Since 2000-2001,
Seward
County
leads the head-to-head series 7-6. The T-Birds have a 4-2 lead at the Arley Bryant Gymnasium in Concordia over the last six seasons.
