The Saints fell at Garden City Community College last Sunday to the Busters who had one of the most impressive shooting performances during conference play this season. Garden City shot 69 percent from the floor in the second-half and hit 16-of-24 shots from 3-point range in the game, to pick up the 103-92 victory over the Saints. Seward County led the game by 13 points in the first-half, but Garden City cut the Saints lead to six points at half-time and outscored Seward County 61-44 in the second-half giving the Saints their sixth conference road loss of the season. Garden City posted the following season-highs against the Saints defense this season: total points (103), field goal percentage (.551, 38-for-69), 3-point field goals made (16) and 3-point field goal percentage (.667).

sophomore forward Theron Wilson had perhaps his best game during the conference season with a team-high 27 points and nine rebounds.
Wilson
shot 11-of-16 from the floor and was 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Michael Tyree scored 23 points and nailed five 3-point buckets in the loss.
Pratt put themselves in an early 0-3 hole to start conference play. Since then, Pratt has been one of the most dominating teams in the Jayhawk West Conference. In their last 11 games played, Pratt is 9-2 with a pair of four-game winning streaks and a victory last Saturday at the Beaver Dome against

(65-61). The second-place Beavers have recorded five wins in games decided by less than five points, and have tallied five wins against the other top four teams in the Jayhawk West.
The Beavers are loaded with talent top-to-bottom in their roster with eight players averaging over five points per game. Pratt has a solid inside and outside game with two of the top rebounders in the Region VI (Kevin Goffney and Alex Rivas-Sanchez) and two of the top three-point shooters in the conference (Bryce Simon and Robert Moores). Pratt also has two of the most impressive non-conference victories in the Region VI with wins over defending Region VI champion Coffeyville C.C. on the road and also at the Beaver Dome.
Seward
County
leads the overall series 10-3 over the last six seasons, with a 4-2 advantage at the Green House and a 6-1 record at the Beaver Dome since 2000-2001.
