The Seward County Community College men’s basketball team will host Northern Oklahoma College-Enid on Friday, Nov. 10 at 6:00 p.m. in a non-conference basketball game. The Saints continue non-conference action at the Green House after going 2-1 in the Pepsi Classic last weekend. Free tickets for Friday night’s game will be available all week in Liberal at Community Bank and the north and south Pizza Hut locations.

came out of the gates strong this season with two convincing wins over Sterling College J.V. (101-64) and
North
Lake
College
(88-52). In last Saturday night’s Pepsi Classic finale, the Saints were defeated by Odessa College 90-86, in a hard fought game that came down to the final minute of regulation.
The Saints have been led by sophomore Theron Wilson, who is averaging 24.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in the opening three games of the season.

Wilson
tallied 20 first-half points. SCCC three-point specialists Michael Tyree is off to a hot start averaging 18.3 points per game. Tyree leads the Saints with 12 three-point buckets and has also recorded seven assists and three steals.
The NOC-Enid Jets are entering the Green House after dropping a non-conference game on Wednesday night at
Dodge City
Community College
. Northern Oklahoma trailed the Conquistador’s at half-time 33-32, and weren’t able to surpass the Jayhawk West pre-season No. 1 pick, as Dodge City defeated Northern Oklahoma 76-68.
The Jets are 2-1 overall this season with victories against Vance Air Force Base (102-65) and Oklahoma Christian University J.V. (92-43).
Northern Oklahoma
has a roster that includes six players that stand at 6-foot-5-inches or taller. NOC head coach, Greg Shamburg, is in his 6th season with the Jets and owns an 82-75 (.522) career record at NOC-Enid.
