), a Second Team Jayhawk West All-Conference pick, was the starting left fielder for
Seward
County
last season. He finished second on the team in batting average (.366) and also scored 49 runs with 70 base hits, five doubles, two triples, a home run and 40 RBI. Schlemeyer was also one of the Saints top base stealers with 10 stolen bases in 12 attempts. In addition, Schlemeyer recorded 20 multi-hit games and had a career-high 11 game hitting streak in 2006-07.
Schlemeyer will join the

Jewell

) baseball program, which has achieved a high-level of success in the Heart of America Conference over the last few years. In 2007, William Jewell finished with a 41-18 overall record and a second place finish (22-10 record) their conference. ), a 6-foot-1-inch left-handed pitcher, finished his career as a Saint ranked fifth all-time in career games pitched (33) and second all-time in career saves (6) at

. During his freshman season, Everson recorded four saves, tying for third all-time in SCCC history for single-season saves. He was third on the team with a 4.15 ERA in 2007, where he registered a 4-3 record with two saves. Everson made 15 appearances with 39 innings pitched and 32 strikeouts.

this season to sign with a NCAA Division I program as he heads to the
