SCCC KICK-OFF CLASSIC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM ANNOUNCED

Last weekend’s SCCC Kick-Off Classic finished at the Green House on Saturday night with

Phillips
College
claming the 2007 classic title with a perfect 4-0 record. The SCCC Kick-Off Classic All-Tournament Team was announced Tuesday morning with selections voted on by head coaches of the five participating volleyball teams.
The Kick-Off Classic Most Outstanding Player was Pamela Luiz from
Frank
Phillips
College
. Luiz, a two-time selection to the All-Tournament team and a 2006 NJCAA All-American, led FPC from the outside hitter position to four match victories. The player named Most Outstanding Libero/Defensive Specialist was Kimberly Schwarting from Garden City.
The following is the remaining players selected to this year’s SCCC Kick-Off Classic All-Tournament Team: Avaniki Campbell (Cisco), Perla Faudoa (Frank Phillips), Rachel Mrdeza (Garden City), Milya Mukhametdinova (New Mexico Military Institute) and Dan Yang (
